Course Extension and Academic Support Policy
At Global Education Academy, we recognize that every student learns at a unique pace and may occasionally encounter challenges that impact their ability to complete coursework or assessments on time. To support student success, we offer flexible options for course extensions and academic assistance.
1. Course Extensions
Students who require additional time to complete a course, assignment, or assessment may apply for a course extension.
Eligibility: Extensions are available to students who demonstrate genuine academic, personal, or medical reasons for delay.
Application Process: Students must submit a written request to their course instructor or the guidance office before the course end date.
Approval: Each request will be reviewed individually, and approval will be granted based on the student’s academic progress and circumstances.
Duration: Approved extensions may vary in length, typically ranging from two weeks to three months, depending on the nature of the request.
2. Academic Support and Tutoring
Students who need additional help understanding course material or preparing for assessments may request academic support.
One-on-one or small-group tutoring is available in most subjects.
Teachers and guidance counsellors are available to discuss learning strategies and academic planning.
Students are encouraged to seek support as early as possible to ensure continued academic success.
3. Responsibility and Communication
Students are expected to maintain open communication with their teachers and the school regarding any challenges that may affect their studies. Timely communication ensures that appropriate support and accommodations can be arranged.
At Global Education Academy, our goal is to foster a supportive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed and reach their full potential.
