Coming to a new country and facing the challenges of high school present a formidable challenge and you should all be proud of yourselves for accomplishing this in your life. I hope you have learned valuable lessons and gained fruitful experiences and friendships along the way that will stay with you and support in the future. I wish you all the best in the coming year as you move on to university or college. These are some of the best times in your life so remember to “gather ye rosebuds, while ye may”.
I had the privilege to teach English classes to many GEA students, and I am excited to know that many of you are graduating. You have completed one chapter of your life and are about to enter a new one! I am certain that high school has given you valuable skills to continue to write your own story and accomplish great things. Thus, I would like to express my warmest congratulations on your graduation. I wish you good luck and success wherever life takes you next!
